For everyone who doesn't know, this is my best friend Nicole (miss_geek) and her son Dasan. Nicole was accepted to Berkeley for the Fall and due to craptastic circumstances has no money to get up there. Her financial aid kicks in the first week of classes in August, but to get her "free" student housing she has to pay for the first two months. Since she has to quit her job to move up there and is already paying rent and supporting a child alone, we are trying to come up with ideas to make money to get her up there. One of these ideas was begging and looking pathetic. We rule at it.


So please if you can come up with any ideas to help us get money for her, drop a line.. and also:

I need someone who knows a little person who wears a size 13 in kids to test some sandals and tell my coworker how they feel. Since all of you know way more people with kids, if you could ask around it would be super.

they totally get to keep shoes and I can hook them up with a zillion more pairs.

this year marks both the 5th and 10th anniversary of me being hospitalized and i am once again struggling to break the cycle. it has nothing to do with you, it's because i'm fucking broken. i don't want to talk about it any more than this and i'm not looking for your superficial support.

i just wanted to apologize to everyone who has had to deal with me and to say i'm not going to be around much until i'm feeling better.

For everyone who is opposed to the celebration of genocide and the turkey holocaust today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The day was picked in memory of the assasination of the Mirabal sisters (the Butterflies of the Dominican Republic) who fought for the freedom of their people.

I hope all of my friends through out the world take a moment of their day to think about this.

i'm going to avoid lj for a while. the political propoganda and all around hate in general is making me ill.


if you need to get ahold of me, you should know how.

building relationships on the internet is ridiculous. You talk to someone regularly for 3-4 years, you even exchange snail mail and phone calls.. then you say something they something they don't like and they permanately ignore you. no good bye no explination.. These aren't true friendships.


It made me think about it, and I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I'd rather people drop me, then me have to keep up reading about their lives, when it's not really important.



live journal drama like woah.

You are so crappy. I'm going to throw jello and rotton bananas into your window and I may even just set your house on fire. However, before it gets to this point, I'm going to ask you to behave. Here is my life of things you need to stop and or prevent:

1.) having your friends honking outside at all hours of the night. Invest in a damn telephone, it will save us all some trouble.

2.) stop throwing trash all over our street, obviously you're parents haven't been there enough lately to keep you in check, maybe they never had time to teach you manners.

3.) stop having loud parties and blasting music until all hours of the night, we live in condos, we hear everything you do.. and I do mean everything.

4.) keep your friends away from my damn house, I don't like coming home to a gaggle of hooligans outside my garage door as I'm trying to get in, nor do I appreciate them yelling at you from outside, while right under my window.

5.) stop using our entire street as a parking lot, it *IS* a firezone.

6.) do not throw trash into the storm drain, ESPECIALLY not glass bottles, if you haven't noticed there is a large amount of wild life living there. It's not bad enough we build our houses on their land, but now we are attacking them out of sheer laziness? The trash cans are an extra 10 feet walk, learn how to make it.

7.) do not park your car behind our garages and leave your radio turned out full blast with horrible music.

I don't think these are too much to ask for. Though since our in between neighbor turned the hose on you and your friends you haven't been nearly as bad, which is why I think throwing things into your house will be sufficient to stop this. I'll give you until next weekend to prove yourself, then it begins.

but that's not why I'm posting.. The Dalai Lama is going to be speaking at the University of California, Irvine on Friday, April 16th. He is going to be speaking twice, once in the morning for students, which will be a free show, then again in the evening for the public, this won't be free. Tickets range for the second show from 12-95 dollars depending on where you want to sit. You can get more information on UCI's website . Jack and I will be there along with his madre. This is an amazing opportunity, and we're all very excited about it.
